On to the Veendam
Thursday, 15 February 2007

So it's that time again when I realise that I have let my website go more than a little out of date.

Rather than fill in the details of the past I'll just say what's happening now.

On the 18th Feb I'll be joining the HAL Veendam as Principal Auctioneer. It's a nice ship with a great itinerary - a few weeks in the Carribean and then moving across to Europe - check it out here:

Veendam

I'm obviously looking forward to getting onboard as Principal Auctioneer and I'm going to make a big effort to keep this site updated with new pictures and news every few weeks.

Check back soon!

Hubbard Glacier video
Monday, 24 July 2006

Just uploaded the video of some really impressive ice caving off Hubbard Glacier...this caused a wave that rocked a 85,000 tonne ship 300 metres away. The most impressive ice fall I saw whilst I was in Alaska and I was luck enough to get it on video.

Click here to see the Hubbard Glacier ice caving (7 MB requires Windows Media Player).

Sounds and more
Wednesday, 08 March 2006

Get your ears ready...I've added a new section "Have a listen".

This has a few sounds clips of me playing trumpet in big bands, brass ensembles and one short clip of a classical recital.

Plus some of the recordings are of my own arrangements.

Have a listen and enjoy!

Matrimonial Music launched
Sunday, 05 March 2006

Another project up and running at:

www.matrimonialmusic.co.uk

Matrimonial Music allows wedding musicians and bands to create free listings in an online directory.

Couples looking for information on wedding music can browse the listings as well as listen to suggestions for music in the online wedding guide. Like the piece of music? Then download it through iTunes.

There's a chance for musician's and bands to win a free iPod shuffle. All you have to do is be one of the first 50 listings to be entered in a free draw.

Brand spanking new website
Saturday, 18 February 2006

OK, a few people noticed that my website was three years out of date...

so here is the latest incarnation, hopefully which I'll keep updated.

What's on here? A few of my travel picture, updates about what I'm doing, some of my useful links and newsfeeds...and a blog, if anyone cares to read it.

I'm also planning to build up some music resources on here, including a revision of my trumpet routine and maybe some of my  arrangements. Watch this space.

I'll also be using this site to look at some of the projects that I'm working on and discuss some of the tools I've used along the way.

Keep checking back.
